how do i go about hollowing out my cat (98 civic ex) and what will it do o sound like?

Dont do it. You will lose power. When you hollow out the cat you get the flow all messed up. Plus ist illegal and will make your car sound real bad.

My cat has been plugged for a while now. Im getting a random technolgy hi flow one put on this week. Does anyone know if this is going to sound different at all with my stock exhaust.

Hey to be honest with you i have a gutted out cat and it dose give you more power but not bottem end i noticed it in the 4k all the way down to 8,5000 in b16 sir 2 but yes IT IS LOUD and somtimes after races it smells funny in my car but it was a risk i was willing to take for the extra power .

if youre dead set on having no cat, just get a test pipe. $40 and an hour later (the nuts were rusted and stripped) i was driving the loudest, most annoying, most illegal civic in town

iv had mine for about 1yr or so now and iv gotten very yust to it mine is more of a bass loud instead of that raspy tin can sound the n1 dunk str8 threw deisgn dose wonders
