Honda Civic HX
I have a 1997 honda civic hx with CVT (how unlucky)...
Lately in the mornings, when i start it and drive, as i step on the gas, the car accelerates and then lags and accelerates and lags.
I look at the tachometer, i step on gas and the tachometer reads up 1000 then 2000 rpm then 1500 then 2000. I can hear the engine speed drop and goes back up and drops.
i started my car at like 10 am instead of 730am, i didn't get that lagging problem?
any ideas? it has 119.6k mileages so i guess servicing coming,
A mechanic said transmission. Should i use genuine honda CVTF that is used for newer cars like the hybrids of honda or i should use ATF?
