HONDA INTERIOR Q
Hey all I have a question I have a 97 civic lx and I needed a replacement part to full in where my cd player was I just got a new headunit Alpine 9815 with infinity speakers all the way arround. the problem lies in the stock cd player it resides in the lower end of the council it rests just behind the door that covers the cup holders is there an item that can go there? where do I find it? I cant find anything anywhere!

Mods: stock
Do you have any pictures? If you're talking about what I think you are, my buddy got something custom made real cheap by one of our other friends who works as a stereo intaller. he put some gauges in place of there..... if we're talking about the same thing.

Yeah I thought there was something factory that they place down there for stock if you dont want the cd player but i like the gauge thing that is an idea. one friend suggested an lcd head unit but he is a fool i just bought a new headunit ill get some pics when the wife gets the car home

There's a plastic trim piece that can fit the opening. It'll turn the space into a "pocket" that you can stick small items into. Go to your local Honda dealership's parts dept. they will have it there.

Yeah, like said.. it's a small pocket that goes in place of the CD player. I had ordered that for my old '97 EX when I had an aftermarket head unit in the car. You can even order the 99-00 cupholder and put that in instead with the even larger pocket. Check www.hondaautomotiveparts.com like CFactor said, and they'll have pics of both so you can compare.

www.hparts.com has good prices as well, but you have to provide your own part numbers, or email them describing the part you want and they'll send you a quote.
They have good service though, I've ordered from them before.
