So a couple days ago I got tired of my cat leaking and sounding like complete shizznitt so..... I unplugged the o2 sensor and cut the cat off and welded up a old glassback that I had laying in the garage that I never got to putting on my old truck. I then added an elcheapo Cai from autozone. I started the car its finally nice and quiet now!!!! Minus the cel staring at me all the time I got noticeable gains on the turdy d17 I get about 5 more miles to the gallon and the overall speed and acceleration totally has increased it will blow tires off in 2nd gear for a second then hooks up.... Uphill can be done in 5th gear at 35 miles an hour. Hollat for any ?'s ill answer if your still skeptical of the upgrade. Trust me its worth it

I can see if his cat was bad, plugged up and not flowing correctly, that he might gain some MPG. But going up a hill in 5th gear at 35 mph????
