tech wrench Idle Low

I noticed today that my 96 ex was idling pretty low beteen 0-500 i guess the normal idle rpm is 750. but should i check my cap and plugs first to see if i can get a clue on this?

yah, check all your ignition stuff (grounds also..) check you battery connections and give your IACV a cleaning, then reset your ECU. and see if that helps
