LED EK Tailights?!

i was driving home the other day during sunset and i was behind this EK. and i notice when his brake lights came on they looked like it had little tiny LED lights in them. i never seen anything like it before. are they CTR tail lights?

you can get led tail lights. some people just replace the bulbs, but there might be companies now that offer complete replacement setups.
