Macco anybody?

Has anyone taken there car to MACCO for a cheap paint up?
I have been debating on taking it there just for a quick spray since this is my beater and I see there adds on the tv all the time with a very cheap price.

never heard bad things about it, but then again, havent really heard much about it. i went to their website once, and their cars looked alright, i guess, its not going to be the best paint/paint job, but i think that it probably is worth the money if you don't need the car to look amazing.

Macco is terrible.
The only way they do good work is if you do it for them, meaning ALL your prep, and let them paint.

i heard that the only way is if you do all the prep work yourself...

sorry, i had to, but this is a mako (macco) shark

dont' do it. even though it is your beater car, you'll still hate your life after a year and your clear coat is peeling away. if you don't care about your beater car, then why paint it in the first place?

Its not that I dont care for it, I also dont want it to look like shiz.Plus if work becomes closer it could be a project car.The future is unpredictable.

If you go ahead and do your own prep work, then take it to a paint shop that has better rep. Ask for a quote, and let them know you did most the prep work yourself.

I got into a wreck a few years ago, luckily the insurance company covered the repairs and the paint job. BUT, the jackoffs sent my car to some company like Maaco and now, like somebody mentioned, the clear coat on my driver door is slowly flaking off. It started by the door handle-now it's all the way down to the trim. My car Silver, so it's sticks out like a sore thumb...
