mwlloyd74 is an unknown quantity at this point
no start

i have a 93 civic ex that the motor went bad in. i just put in a d15b jdm motor but i am having a problem. the motor turns over but will not start. i know the timing is ok and getting fuel but not sure if getting spark all the time. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

check the condition of ur ignition system and go from there.

It could be anything at this point, thats not enough detail. Start diagonising one thing at a time. Ignition seems like a good suspect here, but it could be fuel system or a faulty sensor. Btw, does the engine have an EGR system? If so check it out as well.

LS/Vtec T is an unknown quantity at this point
a big one from honda is the ignition coil and the voltage regulator in the distributor but im preety sure its the coil (from experience
