Noise problem.. Will this solve it?

I dunno if you all have as much wind noise and road noise coming through into the cabin as i do in my 99ex coupe.. i actually spent some time at my friends place on vacation, using his 330ci and man.. i mean, i love my car and all, but ive gotten way too used to that bmw. Now im back and the noise levels are driving me Crazy! I know i can just drive a week or two and get used to it all over again, but do you all think that getting dynamat all around would help. I wanted to get some for my speaker system but i always backed out. If it'll help for the quietness lemme know you guys. Im on the verge of buying or not buying.

as far as the road noise goes, it may help some on the underside of the cabin/trunk area, but wind noise, i doubt it.

a 17,000 dollar civic isn't designed like a 30,000 dollar bimmer

yeah, i know it wasnt designed like that.. but i figure, you guys have engines that can sure haul ass like so many awesome cars way more than 17gs.. I figured maybe you all had ways of keeping the cabin quieter

the only thing that i can think of is maybe gettin thicker rubber seals for the entire car, but then again, the sheet metal exterior is really thin comared to other vehicles

Awesome. I just needed at least one person, although if there are more of you you can say so, to say that dynamat made a dent in the noise levels of their car.. I think w/that i'll lean on the "buy dynamat" side a little more. Thanks for the comments guys. is all i hear from the guys at circuit city and best buy, anything to sell the damn thing to me.

if you're going to do it yourself, there's cheaper stuff you can buy off ebay/internet sites that's just as good or better

i think one of the brands is brown butter or something like that
