Dont take this the wrong way but that hood/fenders/bumper are fugly. I dont even think paint could fix that.
I'm diggin those retrofitted HID's.

Dont know about the time, but probably sometime around July. I really hope we can have a meet, and this should be plenty of time if we do. Of course we will make an annoucment later on as the time grows nearer, but Im hoping for the best.

That would be cool,get a date to me asap cause i think I may not be able to make the southeast meet

eh, personal opinion... bumper went well with the car (bedore it got ran over) then i bought the hood, lights, and fenders just to make it street legal and driveable again (got all 3 for less than $700)

I fixed my exhaust rattle today. So nice to ride in the car, and on bumps, NO RATTLE!! :clap :w00t

But, I am also contemplating whether to boost now or not. I mean, you hear horror stories, but until you have lived in one, and Im not just talking about a rod, or HG, Im talking very, very bad. I dont really want to discuss it anymore.

But If I sold the turbo, manifold, DP, and injectors, I could really add to my suspension and interior.

Now, dont get me wrong, I still want to boost, and I know the accident wasnt from tuning, in fact, the AF was damn near PERFECT. It was a mechanical problem, but pretty damn scary when it happened. I know the chances of that happening to me are slim, but like Ive said, once you have actually experienced it, it changes your perception. I dont have my IC yet, but that could be 100 bucks I could save if I choose not to go FI.

In spades, today started great, I fixed my exhaust rattle, and all thats left (as stated from the what needs to be fixed thread) I need a window sill thingy, ball joint, finish my PW PL install, and get the gauge bezel, and my car is back together!

But then I get to the shop, hop on the WB, all is going damn good, then all of a sudden an event happened that has me sitting here now, questioning if I should risk it or not.

I say boost it I mean you allready went through all the shit of getting the equipment and going back on it now would put all that time you spent to waste.

Im still going to turbo the car. But this was one of those "it can end as quick as that" sort of things. I will post the story here in a little while.
