well i guess to help get everyone's minds off the tragedy for a moment, my latest work on my car involved Sea Foaming the motor AGAIN (this is like the third time i've done it in the past few months!), as well as switching my tranny fluid to Mobil 1 synthetic ATF, my oil to Mobil 1 5w30, and the filter to a Mobil 1 as well.
the oil, i honestly can't feel if it's made a huge difference over the Valvoline Max Life Synthetic that i was running before, but i think i'll be sticking to Mobil 1 from now on anyways just because (IE: employee discount at Target! )
the constant Sea Foaming, my car keeps bogging down after a few weeks of driving, it might be from the gas i'm using (mostly Chevron and Shell), or maybe because i burn through so much of it (my commute to and from work is 1 hour each way!). anyway, i'm noticing that every time i Sea Foam, my motor picks up a little bit more, and now it runs super smooth. the thing that scares me though, is that this last time, it was only about three weeks since i last Sea Foamed my motor, and i got a shitload of bluish smoke out of the exhaust. i'm thinking that maybe that was all oil deposits that were just sitting around, but i'm not entirely sure. only way to find out is to just tear the whole thing apart and look at it i guess.
oh, and the K&N oil filter that i used last time worked great! i just used the Mobil 1 this time to keep within the same brand.

i personally like the way your car looks, though i do think you need some rims.
by the way, i've never seen anyone put their emblem on the front bumper like that. very unique!

I'm having a problem with my valves rattling,I dont know if it is bad gas or what but I know it aint the oil so I'm thinking it may either be my timing or bad gas

try Sea Foaming it. it sounds crazy, but i've heard stories of Sea Foam getting rid of wierd valve train noise.

I have ran it before and it did not really do anything for it,I'm not really bothered by it cause I could give a shit less if the Y7 blows. If it blows it would motivate me to do a swap so I'm just gonna maintain it like normal.
I have no power loss at all though

Mugen, your car is raw dude. Nice attention to detail. And Cfactor, sorry about your money problems dude, but if it makes you feel any better, Im in college and have the same problems. We'll have money someday. Anyway, I really like those wheels on your car. Very nice.

It will either be a C1 or a B16,more than likely a B16 to keep in with what comes on the JDM CTR's,I know I will not be able to do a B16b but I'm looking for a spoon civic 4 door kinda theme and a b16 turbo would be able to put me where I want power wise

tell me about it... its hard to convince the mrs to let me do anything to my car anymore... i always tell her i couldv'e made my car badass, or bought her a wedding ring, i choose the latter. now she's got my balls in a vice over this tuning deal...
in short, if your car gets ran over, and you're thinking about getting married, make sure she's understanding, and if not, fix the fucking car!

actually, it wasn't even my idea. my best friends dad did the painting, and when we went to the shop to pick it up and put it on, he said "man, your car looks goofy with out an emblem." so he pryed it off of the old grill, smoothed the back and just stuck it on there with some epoxy. at first i was like WTF, then it grew on me...
