i'm actually considering trying to sell the car now, and i'm thinking that having the power steering will help. dunno though, cause the way it looks right now, probably only another enthusiast would even consider it, and a true enthusiast probably wouldn't want the p/s.
decisions...

Is your ps gone?
"removing" it from a 5th gen is a little different from an dc2 or ek. There are 3 lines instead of 2, but I think I have the flow down. Anyway, rather than swapping to a manual rack, if you remove the pump, resivior, and the high pressure line, you loop the high pressure lines and tee a vent line off that. From what I hear, it still feels like ps, but you get more feedback control by not having all that fluid. And turning is still better than a manual rack because the ratio is better.

so guys, it's been a long time since any of us posted updated mods lists. what say we all post again to reflect all the changes we've made lately:
car:
1995 DX Civic 4 door
motor:
auto D15B7
performance:
AEM Short Ram w AEM filter
DIY Hyper Grounds
OBX Dual Remus-Tip muffler
suspension:
H&R Sports
KYB GR-IIs
black 6th gen HX rims w 185/60/40 tires
generic polished upper and lower front and rear strut braces
interior:
OEM audio console w custom mounted storage pocket from '02 Civic (i think, not too sure where this second pocket came from actually)
JDM long arm rest
JDM dash coin pocket
polished stainless steel pedal covers and e-brake handle
brushed stainless steel shift knob
DIY amber "JDM" cluster and climate control
generic floor brace
exterior:
ABS Dynamics Mugen style front lip
Wings West JDM EG9 replica rear wing
TYC black housing crystal OEM style headlights w amber city lights
OEM EG8 Foglights painted "JDM Yellow"
JDM style clear front corners
Red/Clear Tails
Ventshades Window Visors
JDM Folding Mirrors w optional heaters!!!!!!!
stereo:
Panasonic Deck
Pioneer 200w 6 1/2" coaxials in front
Alpine 160w 6 1/2" coaxials in rear
Pioneer 300w 2ch Amp
Lightning Audio Bolt Series SVC 12" sub
other:
stainless steel braided hose sleeves (upper and lower radiator hoses, brake booster line, radiator overflow tank line, couple misc. vacuum lines)
custom metallic black hood, roof, and trunk lid (wing is painted metallic black also)
Sylvannia Silverstar H3 in fogs and 9003 in heads
blue LED lighting all over interior (which i actually need to fix)
future plans:
Pioneer 12" sub (will ditch the lightning audio sub in favor)
Pioneer 220w 6 1/2 coaxials for front (200w 6 1/2" will replace Alpines in back)
JDM Window Visors (already getting sick of the stick-on replicas)
clear JDM style sidemarkers (just gotta cut the holes)
Airmass header, probably a 4-1, but starting to lean towards the 4-2-1
new exhaust (?), maybe OBX Fireball-style cat-back
JDM EG9 Front and Reat seats w rear arm rest and trunk access panel
JDM Amber clock
new lip, either another ABS dynamics mugen style, or might spring for the real EG9 Mugen lip
some kind of way cool GPS navigation system
JDM Map Lights
convert to EX cluster (really want a tach)
don't really know what else. would like to swap in EX door panels and get power windows and locks hooked up, but i'm not sure if it's worth the money and the hassle.

well there's a bunch of pics in my photo album here on SHO, just search the member galleries for my user name (if you don't know what that is, i can't help you. ).
i was planning a big photo shoot this weekend with my girlfriend's car, and another friend's car, but i just had a major mishap with the old girl, so that might have to wait a couple weeks.

Even if I didnt post my audio, it wouldnt shorten it that much.
Seriously though, I have big surprises for everyone. Some if has leaked, but thats ok, there is still much more you have no idea about.

can't wait to see it all man! i was getting happy myself because i thought i was almost done with my car. but now my front lip is busted up (damn deeply slanted driveways at Jack In the Box! ), i'm starting to get sick of that loud ass exhaust on long drives, my sub isn't firing, i need a new hood, etc. etc. etc.
i guess this will just be a life-long project.
