yeah i hear you. i love the way my exhaust sounds in the city. it's just that on the open highway, god that thing gives me a headache sometimes. that's why i'm seriously considering swapping to an N1 style exhaust so i can use a silencer.

put a straight through resonator in you exhaust. It will make it super like.
I have this on mine and the sound is not even noticable untill WOT. Cheaper than a N1 also, should cost ya around $30 installed at a local shop

you still have the stock cat??
Anyways.....why not go custom?
a high flow cat with a dynomax muffler and resonator are damn quiet, and also cheap.

I know I don't post up here much but, I got a question for yall,
I was wondering what yall think of silver KONIG Helium’s on a white 1992 civic? I found some for $340.
I need new tires and I don’t want to waste money on my stock 13 inch wheels. If yall can find me some Rota's for the same price please tell me...

These are awesome looking wheels, I almost bought some myself.
However, I've heard of them bending and cracking very easily. This is because of their 10lb weight when they are NOT forged. They just don't have enough mass to create the right amount of strength.
Rotas sell on ebay for pretty cheap....I got mine for I think 380 shipped... 15'' Rota Grids ..Royal Silver

I don't believe you. A straight through exhaust with no cat sounds as quiet as an RSR? You lie.
I have an Apexi WS2 which is pretty quiet, its a chambered exhaust... yet it still screams with the high-flow cat....catless it was kinda loud.

you missed my whole poor mans rsr thread...
It has a resonator, and an OE 01 cougar zn muffler on 2.5" piping. Yes, it is as quiet as an rsr. Got bored, found the muffler in the shed (from when my bro still had the cougar before the wrx) cranked on the welder, and had at it.

just wanted quietness.
yup, that would be a merc cougar. Sounds wierd, and it wasnt a straight on job, actually it was quite a bit of pipe fabbing because of how the muffler is shaped, but I dont care, it didnt cost me anything and sounds exactly the same as a 400 dollar exhaust, so Im happy.
