slight update, picked up a Sirius reciever on the cheap a few days ago, and have been enjoying the benefits of satelite radio ever since. so far it's pretty good, i've been hearing a good mix of music on the various stations, but i have yet to hear any real news from the CNN channel.
also had to buy new floormats because the OEM ones were getting raggedy. well, the driver's side one was raggedy, the rest were not that bad (the back two are still almost perfect!). anyway, picked up a universal all-weather set from pep boys, and so far i like 'em. was looking around for a matching trunk mat, but the only one i've been able to find so far is this really small one at wal mart. it kinda works, because the sub box doesn't leave a whole lot of room in my trunk, but i'm still looking for one that will cover the entire trunk.

son of a crack whore!
i was driving my girlfriend home this evening, and when we got to her place i noticed that the wire for the brake light on my wing was sticking out. upon closer examination (in the f'ink dark i might add!), one of the anchors that the wing is bolted on with snapped out of the damn wing! after limping home at 45 mph (VERY safe on california freeways i might add!), i took a closer look at it. the damage doesn't seem to be all that bad, it's just that anchor (which is really just a wing nut) snapped out, and took some of the surrounding plastic with it.
so for right now i have to roll wingless. i put some Loctite in to see if that will hold the anchor in, but i'm not holding my breath on that one. genuine JDM ferio wings cost quite a bit these days, so i'm gonna look into getting another Wings West replica, or possibly the Erebuni one.
damn what a shitty way to end the weekend!

yup, if you look inside the driver's side door, near where the latch is on the rear side of the door there should be a sticker which shows the paint code.

wash the inside of the housing with alot, i mean alot of windex. and hair dry it.and put it self in the oven at 200 degrees for about 2 mins to get ride of the moisture it might hold.
let it cool off,
what are you using for sealent?
just regular kind of silicon would do the job perfect, unless you have a leak around your light bult sealments and some water just happends to be leaking in...
