Sounds like a good idea. The motor would be a nice thing to tell them about (cause of the price) but then they will most likely raise it. So anything non drivetrain related (especially electronics) would be worth it.

to make sure nobody goes onto bimmerforums.com, it is not anyone from that site, it is people saying that they are from there and ownster.com. mike sho has been in contact with both of those forums and it wasnt them, just imposters

sunday was a nightmare for me, when i woke up and got ready to wash my sedan i noticed it had a flat tire, after inspecting i noticed it had a big ass rip as if somebody did it w/ a knife (don't know how it happened), and then i turned around and noticed that my 04 Pilot had both tires on the right side flat . I wish warranty would cover the tires cuz those rubbers are hella expensive, cost me $255 for two tires.
as far as the civic i haven't replaced the tire yet, i'll prolly wait till the middle of january cuz i want to buy a whole new set of tires cuz the ones i've got are almost over 2 yrs old. what kind of tires do y'all recommend? i was thinkin nitto.

Ok guys, just like I anticipated, things are coming together nicely. I just have to finish the keyless entry, and then I have successfully turned my bare bones dx, into an lx. :clap (minus power mirrors and cruise, but I wouldnt use cruise anyway)
Which means, the doors are done. Im just waiting now to finish my dash, get my seats, and my carpet. I will get pics of the progress, because unlike previously stated, I wont have seats and carpet until summer, because I guess I forgot it was the middle of winter (not from the cold, the lack of snow) I wont tell about the seats, but I will say I am getting a red carpet..
So, the tally goes
Dark grey interior
Red door panels
Audio console (soon to match the HVAC bezel)
Gunmetal painted console and HVAC bezel(looks DAMN good)
OEM grey floor mats (brand new, just got them)
Amber HVAC and cluster
Power locks, windows, and keyless
Ex Armrest (painted gunmetal and top cover done in red tweed same as door panels)
Black suede w/ red stitched shift boot
Black suede w/ red stitched e brake boot
Soon to come:
Seats (hint, they are OEM honda, Dark grey, and have red stitching... )
Red carpet
Possible CTR wheel
I think that will be more than enough to have the perfect 4 door CTR interior.
Whats your take on my plans? (if you like it, go ahead and start picking the list, I dont think anyone can dislike any of it.)
Stay tuned! More to come!

sounds pretty good man. i've been trying to do some more work on my interior as well, but it's mainly limited to trying to get another DIN pocket stuffed into my audio console, figuring out how i'm going | |
