my buddy and i installed my intake today :clap . It took us longer than it should, because of one stupid bolt from the old airbox that just wouldn't come out. I really like how it sounds .

I got a question though, in the instructions provided, it says to replace the coolant bypass hose that's attached from the throttle body to the intake manifold with the hose they supplied. But since we couldn't get the original hose out, we didn't replace it, is that ok?

Yup, it will be fine.

Anyone know exactly how loud an EVO catback is with no cat?

That is what my new exhaust setup is. I just want a little prep. before I bolt it on (when it comes)

in that last pic doesnt look like your side mouldings match ur paint.. maybe just me! if it doesnt match, u should get it matched! i just got mine done..! other than that im a fan of red coupes :P

what exactly is not very quiet? Im probably going to use a cat now, but just how loud would it be? n1 territory? Ive heard that with no cat and it was damn loud.

it wouldnt be as loud as n1 w/o cat, but it will be louder than n1 with a cat. most people think n1 is too loud as it is

Car is looking sweet recaro_civic_R. Not too many clean EF's running around now... my friend has one that is nicely "done-up" unfortunately he cut too many corners and left many things untouched...
