To power steer or not to power steer
Hi, I wanted to know if taking off my power steering belt would help any, and if so, how much?

you might notice a little more low end torque if you are sensitive enough...
But I heard that it can cause problems for cars built for power steering, and the only way to make it pretty reliable is to swap out the rack and pinion for one from a dx or something

I dunno, I took the belt off and TOTALLY felt a difference. When do you things all together like advance the timing, remove ps belt, etc. you will almost definitely see a positive change.

Take it all out so you get weight reduction too....might make a slight difference but not really noticeable, but hey wtf races are deicided by 10ths of a second many times

I took mine out and didn't really feel a power increase but I like the way my car feels w/o the p.s.
