That's not really true. People reportedly make crazy power on GSR cams. The thing is that higher lift is always good for making hp, which lift typically goes hand-in-hand with a VTEC lobe. While high overlaps are generally considered bad for boost, when you have DOHC overlap is tunable with cam gears. Additionally, overlap and duration is more of a requirement to flow at high rpms, not dependent of whether it's f/i or n/a. If he keeps it to 6800 rpm like a stock LS sure big cams will underperform, but if he converts to VTEC he would rev past 8Krpm than he would have to have more cam no matter what.

that's a good question. i've heard with the newer rods and bolts, it's not necessary so much... but we'll have to see.
i certainly hope not though.

I'm not too sure with B-series. I know with D-series if you get ANY type of H-beam rod you have to notch the block. I just finished doing mine on the bedroom floor. WOOT

I've never heard of B-series needing notching with Eagles. D-series has smaller crankcase + smaller bore + larger stroke = rod nailing the bottom of cylinder. However I hear that the more recent models of Eagles don't require notching either. I think it was something to do with the bolt heads.

very small turbo, i know, but i basically got all 3 of these parts for the price of the crank.... definitely a turbo that's better suited for a d16/d15 imho.

you say small which is true because im running a T04E on my Ls *63ar turbine etc etc... but mine is also in a heavier car (integra-gutted and what not)
