take a dremel tool or a hacksaw and cut screwdriver holes in the metal posts holding them on, that is the easiest route, remember once you break it loose youre gonna have to recalibrate it, so youll also need a multimeter

I had to take mine off too to change my tb and when i put it back on my rpms jumped up and down. Took it to the auto shop where i used to work and my boss helped me calibrate it. Ran perfect ever since

I don't really want to take it off but if worse comes to worse and I cant find the culprite to my crappy bouncing Idle I am going to replace it since it is kinda old.Was kinda comfused on how to get it off since it looks like they bolted it on and broke the heads off.

that is why i said you need a multimeter, your buddy didnt recalibrate it when he put it back

get you a white out pen before you even touch the TPS you trace the outside of the housen and make sure you are very close to these marks when putting the new one back on i have done a bunch of these sensors over the years and never had to take out a multi meter make sure you dont put your marks on the old tps ive see ppl do this you wanna make your marks on the Throttle body around the base of the TPS
