accualy there is 3 diff models in 88-91 wagons that had awd those are the only years they made them

The car is a Honda Civic Wagovan, they were used for delvery cars when they first came out. I wanna say there are two different kinds of the AWD set up. The older models have a lever that you can change from AWD and FWD, kinda like a truck. The newer style has Realtime AWD, which is the same AWD that the CR-V's have. This only activates when the wheels slip.

i own an 89 "Wagovan" they were called "Wagons" and "Wagovans" something to do with changing the name so they could import more. Mine is 2WD with 210K miles and still delivering 30mpg. It is slow I have replaced just about everything but the engine and tranni keep pluggin along....I was told that the AWD model was the predecessor of the current CRV. Bought it new in 89 for $13K. Don't know what years AWD was built thought they were manufactured between 88 and 90 I know they were in 89 and 90
