Hey I'm very intested in buying a civic and I wanna put lots of preformance parts in it to get it as fast as possible. I'm curious if the 1998 HONDA Civic EX 2 Door Sedan would be a good choice. If not what would be. I'm looking for a car i'm hoping to make fast. TY in advance!

How fast? A sedan usually isn't the racer's first choice.
Hatchback or coupe....also you might be better off getting a better platform to begin with like an integra

I think a few top brand companies would argue that point.
As for wanting to go fast. IF, its going to be a trackcar, and not a daily, or double duty, strip it down. Get a nice engine, and build the suspension.
Then, work on your driving...

he said 2dr sedan, so basically he meant coupe.
what are your goals, not just make it fast. if you have no goal, you'll never reach it, so your always satisfied.

I want to get some NGK spark plug wire, but can't decide on which ones to get.
1. Less than $50
2. About $120
I know I can't go wrong NGK, but what is difference between the two.
thanks

Just get the $50 high performance wires. I have them and they're all you need. I've never seen those $120 ones but they dont look much different.

Did you notice a difference when you put them on?

nope. unless your current ignition parts are in bad shape then i dont think any changes you do would be noticeable. i just got them when i replace everything (cap/rotor, wires, plugs) after buying my car used. its good to do but i dont think much, if any, noticeable power would result from that.

i currently have an 00 civic hatchback. its bone stock and i wanted to start by upgrading my suspension. i've been debating about wether to get koni yellows or kyb agx. i heard they're both good, but the koni's r more expensive. any input or feedback would be appreciated.
i also need springs to go with it. not sure wut to get. i wanted to drop my car maybe like 2 or 2.5 inches. not a lot. my friend told me to get H&R springs. i was also thinking about skunk2, or eibach. anyone have any exprience with there? thanks for anything in advance

Konis are a lot better quality, thats why they cost more. They also go great with H&Rs. I'd recommend the sport springs for daily driving but those only drop 1.5"-2". If you drop more, then you will need to also get adjustable camber kits to keep your wheels aligned. If you really want the 2.5" drop then look at the race springs. Those wont be as smooth of a ride but they will look better.

the yellows are the best hands down. i love them. with springs i have H&R sports. very good ride, about a 2 finger gap all round. if you want lower, then you can adjust the height on the koni yellows (another advantage)
