Stock Civic 1/4 Mile Times?

Yesterday I took my car to the track for the first time, and ran a 17.2 and a 17.6. I've heard that my car should be able to run a 16.8 with ease. Both times I had really bad starts, because I wasn't used to all of the grip and had serious wheel hop issues. My car is basically stock, except for a short ram intake. I was wondering what other people have run with their Stock Civics, especially with 92-00 DX's or LX's, to know where I stand. BTW my car is 5spd if you didn't know already.

the EX 5 spd. should be able to pull a high 16 stock, and i mean like 16.8-16.9 with a GOOD driver.

with i/h/e, i've seen an EX 5 spd. pull a 16.5 though

with an LX/DX 5 spd. a low 17 to mid 17 is pretty good

Maybe you should be the driver for all the magazines so civics can get faster quarter mile times But really, the shocks/springs help a lot on quarter mile times
