yeah it really sucks. i have my car in utah now so hopefully it wont get jacked. buying parts to fix it, putting a better alarm system on and connecting it to an alternative battery instead of the main battery. also putting on kill switch. just to be safe.

as long as you used duct tape you all good. one roll on each side should be good enough to last forever. I wouldn't be surprised if it held 15psi. and none of that fake duct tape either I'm talking the real shit, the kind that holds your car together at 140mph, or at least mine.

i think a good theft deterrent is duct tape. why you ask?? have you tried pulling it off or cutting through a whole roll of duct tape? just duct tape the whole steering wheel and see them bastards squirm in agony trying to get it off.
it might not be so good if you actually want to drive the car tho.

good luck on everything man. I had mine merked from my college. I got it back they slashed all the wires under the dash and took all my cds it was freakin odd like they jst went on a joy ride at my expense o my clutch was shot too. It sucks cuz it puts u so many steps back when your tryin to finish your car or at least make some progression with it I kno it put me back alot.

I'm 100% with you on how much that sucks getting your stuff taken like that
I had the same shit happen to me 2 weeks back where some scumbag plucked my stock *but very clean* 92 EX out of my driveway. I did not even have that car for a month and they grabbed it only to have it found 2 days later and impounded. The bastards swapped their shit doors, hood, trunk, ect... everything but the damn roof and cut off my cat off. It even costs me like $230 for the tow and "storage" on top of that So, even in RI on the east coast you can't have a nice stock setup... Nevermind if it was all decked out
I really hope stuff works out for you on the rebuild and remember your not the only one... spent the whole weekending swapping doors and shit over here.. heh

yeah i paid 470 cuz it was impounded which sucks. i have some updates. my brother in law gave me an exhaust tip since the other one they cut off and i had that put on for 40. i have everything to fix the front end now i am just waiting on the money since i'm broke, i installed the new stereo and rewired everything since all the cables where shot. all speakers work, got 2 12 inch subs and 2 800 watt amps just need to install the amps now. so hopefully the car is back to it's normal self in a month. i'll let you guys know what happens.

it's unfair that someone steals your car and you have to pay the state to get it back

This is why i installed a viper alarm with the key chain adapter that alerts me p to a mile away from the car if my alarm goes off. You should look into that!
