tire feedback

What brand of tire out there in 205/40/17 series will still give me a smooth and forgiving ride? Any suggestions

imported is an unknown quantity at this point
Pirelli PZero Nero, Bridgestone Potenza RE950 and RE730, Sumitomo HTR+, Yokohama Avid H4, and Dunlop FM901. Kumho Ecsta 712 also....

Go on tirerack, select you size, and read the reviews on the tires...see what others have said.

Prob the most forgiving will be the Avid H4, RE950, and PZero Nero, but, that 40-series sidewall won't be so forgiving either (esp. on a 17" wheel).

of the wheels mentioned above the RE730s are the only ones worth looking into.

lets figure out what you are looking to spend and what's your definition of "smooth and forgiving ride"?
