not a good idea... seeing as unless u rev it high enough to spool, u wont really do anything... it wont help...
but Ill give u the link anyways, and u can decide if 2k+ is ok on a car that wont fully utilize it.

Like Holloway said. Hondas auto trannys are slush box's. It WILL not hold.
That gen civic isn't very good to mod as it is.

so true. a t25 off of a dsm or s13 would be just fine. or a small t3 turbo off of a saab or something. all of which would be an easy 50 hp gain

haha I knew you would agree, me and you have had this conversation about 1 trillion f'ing times. Volumetric efficency....noobs need a stiff lesson in that...there are countless turbos that I know of that would make that 7th gen peice of shit scream, however with a weak link like that tranny its moot point...id rep you but i gotta share with someone else first.
Also to add some value to this thread instead of the usual debunking of bs injected into threads by people who almost have an idea of what they are talking about.....Courtney, you have to first determine what you are doing with your car and then you need to but on some big girl panties and do some research.
All of the most amazing builds I have seen were ones that had certain executions of parts that no one would think of...I don't think those guys went on to a forum for some parts recommendation hand holding.
I hate to be blunt but everyone wants the easy answer, "oh ill go on this forum someone will tell me what to use" building a car doesn't work like that!!!

yup a civic with a properly mated turbo will outperform teh same car with this shitty ass oversized turbos they sell with those turbos kits. do you really need a t3/t4 60trim for you d15/d16 that won't spool till the end of your powerband. trust me a nice little t25g cost 300 bucks brand-new and will more than support 200whp on a d-series and make nice flat tq curve. 200whp with 185-205wtq would be more than fun to drive.

okay well first of all all i was asking for was opinions....no need for talking shit and saying bullshit like putting on big girl panties okay i dont really know shit about turbos i could have gone and asked a pro but no i apparently i asked the wrong people. So thanks anyways people who werent assholes....but i will find myself a new forum with nicer people. And from what i understand forums are for people who have questions and would rather ask people who have same cars or similar problems im not looking for a "easier way out". So thank you Lowcivic but i realy dont want your fucking opinion.
