V-Tec Swap?

So instead of purchasing little parts here and there for my 2003 Honda Civic LX I thought about just putting a vtec engine in it. How would I know everything would run smoothly and everything would match up if I were to get one? Any Ideas?

Lots of good swaps as far as v-tec gose Luke h22 h23 f20 b18 k20 its more of whatever your budget and taste gose for the build about the same amount of work either way so just look around for specs on engines and enfermation on where to get good ones at a good price

Go with a K24/K20 swap. Relatively cheap, and if done right you have a reliable build with a lot of torque. Good foundation for turbo.

The K20s would best suit those year Civics. And it's been done many times if you search around.
