Under the steering wheel, its a black dial, you have to use a small flat head screw driver to turn it. Left increases your VTEC RPM and Right lowers it. Let me know how it goes. Be careful not to turn it too much though.

Wouldn't it be possible to tap/patch into the wiring for the vtec solenoid?

it should be the green wire on the vtec solenoid. go to radio shack and get one of those green or red led's. connect the + to the green wire on the vtec solenoid and ground the black wire on led. done

No that was my weak attempt at humor because the question you asked made no sense.

what exactly would you like to know?

dont listen to johnny tran the vtec control module is located in the glove compartment and the remote is usually placed under the passenger seat where theres a compartment under the carpet. so you could control vtec from outside the car if its just idling with no driver

Im curious to know how many people actually went to there car and checked for the "black box" under the wheel. I wish it was that easy to control the vtec.
I have a led that turns on with the vtec. Everyone thinks its a shift light. Dont really need it but I was bored one day....
