Sounds like the starter is turning over, but you're not getting ignition. So that narrows it down to fuel system or distributor. I'd get the fuel pump checked out and the spark plugs. How long since you checked or replaced either of those? Alternator maybe, bearings could be bad but iono. how old is this car?

the car only has 750 miles on it from the rebuild i broke the rings in n/a and then i put the turbo on. it has spark and fuel it was turning over but then my battery went dead and i chareged the battery i tried to start it and it had a little bit of smoke coming from under the dash on the driver side. it was running fine n/a but after i put the turbo on it didnt want to start i figured compression so i was working on that but then the battery went dead and now it wont even turn over

you've got too many problems. You either need to back up and remove some variables and troubleshoot or take it somewhere and have a shop look at it.

SMOKE??!!?! :eek

Dude, are you SURE you're getting power to the plugs? Sounds to me like you fried something electrical. Check your ECU for damage and make sure there's power to your distributor.

Did you install some kind of fuel magament system with the turbo?

Like kommon_sense said, you have too many problems... Take it somewhere and get it checked out.

Here ya go. You need a multimeter. You have a burnt out RELAY. That is the problem iwth the starter. You need to use that multimeter, or find someone who can use one well, and check all relays and fuses. Good news: your porblem is electrical Bad news: it might be EXPENSIVE to track and fix. Look for burnt or melted connectors and dissconnect your battery when not working on your car. Carry a fire extinguisher, THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOUR CAR COULD BURN DOWN!!!! Be careful and let me know how it works out, or PM me and we can talk on the phone and try to work it out.

REPS PLEASE!!

Just a question, what ARE you using for fuel manangement and what kind of injectors are you running? It might be possible you miss wired something incorrectly. You could also be using the wrong type of injector, are they saturated or peak hold? did you wire in an SAFC, hondata, or equivilant? I wouldn't keep trying to start it if you fried something. but since you said it came from the driver's side of the dash it probably is a fuse or relay.
