Plus i have 17's and i hate them... and there is a Big difference between D's and normal rims.... yeah he should put rims on... its the biggest Exterior Upgrade besides a kit that you can do... but in no way should he be putting anything over 17's on it... and by D's, if you dont know... and seems like you dont... it means DUBS aka, VERY LARGE HEAVY RIMS!!! ...
so i say again... Lustin to me and dont put D's on... put some Nice Light weight 15/16 inch Rims on your car and give it a Nice drop....
have a good day.

I was refering to your sig, I know you've had other threads with pics, I'm not denying that fact. but you had a pic of your car in your sig, than you took it off, and since you've just been putting pics of youself up.
And I know what D's refers to, DUBS from the Wheel Company DUB or THe Dub Magazine. 20" are big, but I've seen them on Civics and sometimes it looks quite good. Why is everyone conforming to this whole JDM look, be different; that is what this culture is all about, being an indiviual with your car modifications and styling of your ride.

just because you aint riding 20"s doesn't mean you are jdm. in my opinion jdm is getting played out. but there is logic behind not putting 20s on a civic. 1 big one is the weight, a 50lb wheel and 30lb tire is not very easy for these 100hp motors to spin. stock weight wheel+tire is closer to 40lbs. then you get to the ride quality and handling. 20" wheels = shit for handling. So between the weight, and then handling that would be affected, you have just ruined 2 of the things that are great about the car in stock form. No lets get to the looks, show me a pic of a civic on 20's that looks good, and i'll let that one slide.

I am not disagreeing with you about all the reasons why not to do that to your civic, but all I was saying was that it looks cool. Not that its functional.
