02 sensor check light
About a year ago i swapped in a obd1 b18c1 in my 95ex. Before i did the swap my check engine light was throwing code 1 bad o2 sensor. I didnt try to fix it because i was swapping in the gsr but the harness that came with the engine swap had been spliced into and i didnt want to use it. So i used the engine harness from the sohc engine extended the wires to reach the o2 sensor and wired in a knock sensor. No other codes everything runs fine except code 1 so the car is running in open loop.
I tried everything new o2 sensors check the wiring diagrams even took the computer, engine harness, and 02 sensor out of my gsr that wasnt throwing andy codes put it into the civic and it still throws code 1. I dissconnected the battery everytime to reset the computer. The only thing i can think of is to replace the wiring harness from the computer to the engine harness where it connects on the side of the strut tower under the hood. Any suggestions or ideas?
