esr450 is on a distinguished road
1991 integra gs...

i wana start adding some simple mods to get smoe more horsepower out of it... does it have any potential or am i just wasting my money?

welcome aboard. it's not a waste of money to modify an LS motor (which is what you have). search/ look around and you should find plenty of info here. best of luck with your project.

well with my 90 LS i started with intake, header, hi-flow cat, and exhaust. then the head gasket went (not due to any mods, the radiator cracked somehow and i drove it too far after it overheated thinking i could run the heater and make sure it had water in it to get home), so i swapped the motor and did some other stuff.

it really all depends on your goals for the car, your budget, and your personal taste.

hmm i see.....i wana use it as a streetcar... i was looking at the performance plans here and came across the free homemade plan...whats that all about?

its on the top towards the right...click performance then click beginners guide to performance....then look at the free homemade plan its the first line on the matrix

oh ok i remember that now.. some good stuff but it's gotten easier than that in the last 6 or 7 years. i mean you could still do that stuff but you can also do simple mods for very little dough these days. just remember you get what you pay for 9 times out of 10.

yea i kno its true...m on a budget right now but m real eager to start fixing it up for some reason...hahaha what cheap mods do you kno about that you would recomend?
