2000 Integra Corner Lamp Question...

Has anyone switched there corner lamp wires so that it lights up bright filament instead of the low filament when the parking lights are on? Reason asking is I want to know if it'll run too hot and melt the plastic? I'm not concerned about having a turn signal I have that part figured out. Will the bulb run too hot and melt the corner lamp housing is what I'm wondering about. Any input would be appreciated. If im not clear as to what I'm asking let me know.

Thanks
Rav!

it semi-melted mines, then I switch back the wires. Does anyone now how to make the turn singnal your using alter back and forth from the small bulb to the big one? I seen it once and I wonder how you do that?

Hey thanks for the info guys you answered my question! 01typegs-r as for question about having the bulbs blink from the big one to the small one and vice versa, before Acura updated the styling back in 1998 the previous Integra's turn signals blinked like that. You can still do it using a relay in each corner lamp so when the blinker comes on it would trigger (open/close) the ciruit for the small lamp. If you have basic electronics skills you can probably do it. But you would need to use Relays to get that effect.
