Around 4000$ for a decent kit....and its best to build a custom kit and its best to build the entire motor...theres next to no point in turbo if your going to run bitch boost. Run 30PSI with a serious turbo kit and serious internals thats the only way to do turbo.

first of all, you have to get rid of your intake and header...and depending on what kind of exhaust you have, you might have to get rid of that.
can't believe u guys missed this...lol...one post about how it'll cost money, and the other stating to run 30psi daily lol...sheesh, too crazy for me..
in my opinion i'd get the GReddy TDO5H-18G turbo kit, fits well, built well and gives you that kick...click on one of the sponsers superhonda has to see how much they cost..
also, they are having a group buy on rev hard...take advantage of that..and you might want to take a gander over into the turbo charger forum..
good luck

ok, so what work do i have to do to the motor when i get a turbo? i dont need something super fast, just enough to be as quick as an rsx or faster. i dont want to do any internals. And the boost doesnt have to be 25+ psi. or could it be? also dont want to spend a whole bunch of money.

ok yeah, 25 psi on your stock motor without internal modification is NOT good hehe
looks like you're like a lot of people..bolt on turbo kit, not too agressive and just good enuff to hang with some people which is fine by me...
what's good about the GReddy kit is that everything comes with it...the only thing the GReddy kit doesn't come with (and which i reconmend to get) is a front mount intercooler...
you don't have to do anything to the motor..slap the kit on...
the only thing is maintenence...earlier oil changes, installing a turbo timer, etc...
here, read these:
turbo kit prices and what's included
and
http://www.beesandgoats.com/boostfaq/g2icturbo.html
good luck, hope i helped

If you wanna be faster than RSX-S and don't wanna drop a ton of money run some nitrous...its cheap and makes power and its not full time abuse on the engine like a turbo.

the two people i did nitrious installs for ended up hashing their motors...
not using race fuel, upgrading to bigger jets, and not using colder plugs...
just watch out guys...it's like playing with fire =P
50 shot is "ok" tho.. hehe but damn, 30 bucks a refill for the tank...blah!

Ive seen that homemadeturbo link a few times on SHO. I wouldnt feel safe buying a turbo kit for 1500 especially from a place called homemadeturbo. But thats just me.

Autronic standalone...
side note, the pic shows that the car has the Tec 3 (or tec 2, i forget) and still has the distributor..lol..and no spark plug wires haha..swapped out later on tho

just for the sake of doing it? personally that's just putting a ton of wear and tear on the car..even tho it's built up..
mebbe that's just me...but i'd rather have 18psi only in scramble mode
