2nd LS/VTEC

Sup yall, its me again, if you looked at some of my past post, my buddies and I have built an LS VTEC for our project rex, I helped by supplying the b16 head because I know the owner of the junkyard in town and got it for a good price ( $250 with intake manifold and distributor ) we decided to take it on the dyno later on for more tuning amd getting full power out of it( will post charts as soon as I get em ), now I've decided to build my own daily driver LS VTEC, yes it sounds weird, why would u build an LSVTEC if u already have a JDM B18C type R in you 94 teg? 3 reasons, 1 my 94 teg is a garage bitch till summer comes back, 2 I have an old blown B18B from a friends 96 teg and decided to rebuild it to keep me from drivin my type R ohh yea!!, 3 it will be piece of mind that if sumthing happens to my ITR engine, I'll have a back up but ya sry I'll get straight to the point, I made another trip to the junkyard and picked up another b16a2 head from and 99 civicSIR2 wiht the works, gonna leave that stock 2, I've read almost every LSVTEC thread here and I think I have a general idea on how to build a reliable LSVTEC, I'm gonna bore and hone the block, balance, mircopolish crank and get a set of CTR pistons. pick up a GSR block girdle with a golden eagle VTEC oil line kit, replace ALL BEARINGS( and I mean ALL!! ) arp head bolts and rod bolts. to satisfy my need to rev high I'm gonna get some crower rods to help with the R/S revving problem so I should be good at 8000RPM. Does this look like a good setup to anybody, no I'm not asking how much HP or will I smoke GSR's, just want to know other pplz info on my build up, and no I'm not going forge pistons cause I've already ordered the CTR pistons lol so yeh just tell me you thoughts, and please no tomahawk cruise missiles, flamethrowers, 9mm, shotguns, tech 9'sor trying to serve me up a jug of haterade because YES I HAVE DONE RESEARCH

Ok, that's fine and all, soo what do you wanna know? I've been down the LS/vtec road before. Why not build the type R? Better all around block in my opinion.

i'd think about swapping in a GSR crank or something to rev safely. i don't know if micropolishing will suffice.

btw do you think you can hook it up with a good GSR tranny?

Get an ITR crank since it has better balance than the GSR crank and is made of better material. Aftermarket rods sound expensive, so just get OEM R rods with good rod bolts.
