3500rpm fuel cut?? backfire!!! HELP!!!

Ok Sirfallsalot posted on an accidental enter button hit, i was editing post while u had closed the thread.

So i got a new b18a1 and swapped everything off of my old b18b1, to make it compatible with my OBD1, so i got everything on and went to fire it up, it ran but horrible until i got the dizzy good enough to keep it running, i thought i would rev it up a little bit and 3500rpm's was the max, then it backfired and a loud backfire at that. it was almost like it hit a fuel cut, well when i got the b18a1 it had a crazy dizzy mount on it and it was no where close to the stock holes, way advanced, what do you guys think the problem here is, it it the knock sensor? i am so lost on this, and ideas would be helpful, thanks

Yes the dizzy is off of my car's first b18b1, it then blew up, well locked up, i took everything off of the motor intake, header, tranny, dizzy, alternator, everything, the only thing that i couldn't figure out what to do was the blcak box on the back of the motor for gas to excape, so i plugged them and put the b18b1 valve gover on it, have pcv valve on top of the cover, any suggestions what to do with that.

On another note the car will not start now, no power to fuel pump???? I have no fuse layout any one can help me with that it'd be great. thx and peace

No power at all to the fuel pump? Have you checked the main relay? The slightest bump to Honda main relays can cause one of the probes to come out of the solder.

I have no idea where the relay is on my 94 civic and no no power, but i have lost my windows to? no power to the fuses either side for the windows, but my sunroof still works. i don't know alot of wiring must be messed up or something, if you know where the relay for fuel pump is and i'll see if its good or bad, and if any suggestions on windows it'd be a help to.. thanks

Well unless someone comes along that actually knows the problem for sure (from experience with the same symptoms), it's just a process of elimination...

i.e., checking what has been said in this thread, fuses, main relay...
