its got 160k on it, good clutch and tranny, runs really smooth and quiet. jus needs brakes. i dont know anything about the engine besides what i can tell by looking at it.... 1.6l, dohc. whatcha guys think about it? its for a winter beater.

i'd buy it for 500 bucks. if it breaks down then i'll just go ahead and fix it (at least try). that's just me tho. but to make sure, see if u can have the owner provide u with a compression test.

thanks for your post, i think its definitely worth 500 bucks. the a/c even works, as do the pop up headlights, sunroof, etc. its completely stock-original tape deck and all. the interior is in great shape, seats arent ripped or anything. if we get bored we might put on a cam seal, and will prolly replace the timing belt since we have no idea when it was last done (this was a trade-in at a dealership that my friend works at). this stuff is really cheap parts-wise and no labor expense of course...

the fun stuff will be putting a dual exhaust that comes out on each side, and some ghost flames on the front...hehe... its going to be a beaut of a winter beater. we are considering the license plate 5HITBOX.

oh yeah, i didnt see it on the block, anyone know the engine code for the car?

1.6L DOHC engine. with 118hp@6500 and 103lbs@5500..

haha not the strongest engine but it should get you by through winter. I'd buy it for cheap...save your lude haha.
