91 integra XSi swap, problems with ecu..?

Ok, most of you guys know recently i did a swap for my buddy down here, he hydrolocked his b18a in a 91 integra, and we swapped in a brand new jdm b16a from hmotors..

For awhile now until we actually got the motor working properly and got all the nicks out, he was running the stock pr4(ls) obd0 ecu..car ran fine..little boggy at times but that ecu is for a 1.8..its understable..

Well fast forward to a few weeks ago, he got some money for a conversion harness obd-0 to obd-I, and i recently just came into a good standard p28 which i chipped out, and my buddy burned for me a chip of a local car we tuned with the same setup..Now to test the ecu and make sure it worked, i plugged up my ostrich to it, in my car, and it worked fine..

Well here's the problem, when i put this friggen thing in the 91 integra, it doesn't work, keeps a CEL on..Now the conversion harness came with everything i needed, it just plugged right in to the ecu and the harness plugged right into the converion harness, it also came with 8 other wires, for misc things, like the IAB's, knock sesnors etc etc, well this b16 doesn't have any of that shit, it has 3 grounds and 2 powers..i've tried wiring them to the battery and no go.. what am i fucken doing wrong this is not only pissing me off but its just annoying, the only two wires out of the 8 that this motor uses, is the grey one for the vtec oil pressure, and the purple one which is the vtec switch..If anyone knows anything with the obd0-obdI please chime in i'm kindof stumped, did i just not wire something right?
