Hey, im new to this site somewhat new to hondas. I got a buddy that is gonna trade me a zc motor in return for some favors on his car. Im probally gonna do this regardless but i was wondering what goes into the swap for the zc motor into my 92 integra the car currently has a b18a1 i believe. The motor is comming with pretty much everything including a ecu, dohc head, but no tranny. What are my options with the tranny. Just a crx tranny or.....
get the zc, sell it, and put that money into your A1.
Its not worth the trouble locating a trans and your car is just going to sit no matter what option you choose. Might as well go with the option that isnt as a much of a headache.
Do you know if how much longer the zc is going to last over the A1?
As for the swap..You have to get new mounts, you can probably keep your axles, but you still have to find a trans, and hopefully he gives you an engine harness along with the motor.

check out www.thezcr.com it is a forum dedicated to the ZC. I had one in my CRX a while back. They are OBD0 you can use an ECU from a 1989-91 CRX/Civic Si, 88-89 Integra 5-spd, or a 89-91 ZC
ZC in a 92 Integra? Why? Sell the ZC swap and get another B18. The ZC will require slight wiring changes, mounts and axles. Plus it's a loss of power and displacement.
