Hi. Just got a 95 GS-R Sedan this summer. A super cool gift from the rents. Anyways, it came with a cheap "Funnel Ram" short ram intake, a modified clutch (I'm guessing its lighter than stock, its super sensitive. Took me forever to get the hang of it.) and some ugly GSR fat five 15" rims that the previous owner chromed out (I already know the rims this car needs, some 15" Graphite Axis Mag-Lites . Aside from those few things, the car is completely stock, it feels like its needs a tune-up, and an alignment, which I will most definitly get to very soon.
I have already raced a few car, in the test drive before i bought the car, the owner took me out and challenged a nice late80's/early 90's corvette on the street, the race was neck to neck, which was amazing for a I4. I personally have raced a few friends, mostly in newer accords, and I am currently 3-0 with them. This car is quick, so im anxious to bring out its full potential.
However, since most of you know your Integras, what mods or improvements are must-have's for a car like this? I am on a limited budget being a student, but nothing is impossible. Please lay down as much knowledge to this newbie. Thanks.
Nice gifts from *** rents. I would go into a big ass detail on what to do. But all you got to do is read down on this very page alone and you can learn so much from your car. Run a search in this forum and I'm willing to bet within the last week there have been several questions just lke this.
But first off,
What are your plans for hte car? What is your budget exactly? 1/4 or auto-x racing? show or go? that kind of stuff. I'm assuming speed so you can just giving us some information from there.
Those questions I guarentee will be asked to start off with.

clarify what you mean by the clutch is super sensitive. a modified clutch should feel stiffer. if u mean sensitive in that it revs fast that means ur flywheel is lighter than stock. clutches dont get heavier with upgrades. theres really no way for u to tell just by driving it unless uve driven one before andknow how fast it revs stock. im curious because when the clutch pedal gets super sensitive if u mean what i htink u mean it usually is an indication of the end of clutch life. so u might check.

Mods: turbo back and up pipe. rims/tires/springs coming soon!!!
well it depends on wut u want to do. there are two roads u can take. the first would be the most expensive, u can turbo or supercharge ur car and ud gain a lot of hp. u could piece together ur own turbo kit anywhere from $2500-$3500 depending on wut u get. or u can guy a kit for around the same price. superchargers run around $2000 and up but dont offer as much power as a turbo does. if u dont want to turbo out ur car u can stay N/A(naturally aspirated=no turbo or supercharger) which brings u to option 2. staying N/A means u want to get urself a nice exhaust, intake, header, cams, valve springs, retainers...etc. the list could go on. it is cheaper than going with forced induction(turbos, superchargers). gsr's run pretty hard from basic bolt ons like headers, intake, exhaust, intake manifold. i think ull be happy once u get some bolt ons and open up the top end more.

you should go with the basics.....Get a exhaust system, cam gears and hedders........thats what you should go first.....that will gain you horsepower...
Just like to say thanks for al the advice. I've have been doing a lot of reading, just got the latest issue of Honda Tuner, (they had my car!) and i've decided to go N/A. Im getting some money together right now for some new maintenance parts (spark plugs, wires, etc...) and for some headers, ebay seems like a good resource, so i've been looking around there. Any GSR owners that can give me and testimonials about parts which have worked best, that would be great. Thanks again doods! BTW head over to http://wocoan.com/gsr/gsr.html to see some pics of my GS-R.

cpluna408 is my old screen name. i have decided to go full blown handling, no motor mods at all, i have brought the motor back to stock. and am currently upgrading my brakes, suspension, rims and tires.
i am about to install my carbon fiber hood tomorrow morning, a set of 15" axis mag-lites in gunmetal, and am thinking about some omnipower coilovers, still researching suspensions for my needs, dont wanna have to do that twice. im gonna be doing only canyon carving. and this weight reduction and suspension and brake mods give me piece of mind. for almost a year now i have been hitting the canyon course hard (max at 75mph straights, 30mph turns) with a pretty much stock car. so i cant wait what i can do with some appropriate gear.

i realized the B18c1 was more than capable of my racing style stock, and the stock handling and suspension characteristics were so good, as with my interest in canyon racing, this works out well
