95 integra ls or 94 integra gsr? which shall i get
i just found a 1995 integra ls with 89,000 mileage on it for like 4200, but its negotiable down to around 4, and i found a 1994 integra gsr with like 81k mileage i believe is what he said for around 4150? which one should i get? thanks
all depends on what condition either is in. I personally would go for the GSR but for all you know the LS might be in better condition. The GSR has a 1.8L DOHC VTEC motor (b18c) which leaving the LS with a 1.8L DOHC non-vtec. Both cars have mad potential depending on your plans for it. Have a mechanic take a look at both first and then go from there.
Listen to Krucial on having both cars looked at by a good mechanic who knows about them...and you really need to know what your plans are for the car ahead of time if you want a good turbo car I'd go with the LS...then again if you want a good all motor car I'd go with the LS and run LS/VTEC...or you could just get the GSR and boost that or go all motor with the GSR it really doesn't matter that much...I'd look at milage and the condition of the body and chasis closely though. good luck

if your lookin for something that will get you around town i would get which ever one looks better on the interior and exterior cause i dont think a dealership will sell a fucked up car cause they usually have a 30 day warranty that if asnything happens they'll fix it or give you your money back(they have laws against selling unreliable vehicles)but if this was me in the same situation as you i would get the LS cause its cheaper on the insurance and its a better turbo motor

what he said. I would get the LS cause of the insurance cost. You can always swap out the motor for a B18c.

Go for the GSR. Yes the insurance is cheaper on the LS, but it does cost a little extra for that extra adrenaline rush. I just recently got a 96 GSR. I've been able to get the speed to 145 MPH all stock. It pretty impressive going from a 2000 Civic governing at 120 MPH. Plus you might regret not getting the GSR later if you do get the LS. I say join the Geezer club and have fun.
oh i got the ls, works great, the gsr was sold for like 5+
That's cool....personally..i love my GSR..but since you already got the LS..just make the best out of it..maybe later on when you have some spare money...well..plenty of spare money....you can do a LS/Vtec conversion..... anyhow..congratulations on your new car bro.......

::sniff sniff::: I smell a little honda/tech b/s here. Since when did the B18B become a better turbo motor? Please don't say lower compression.
Yes the LS is cheaper on SOME insurances- you'll have to check with your insurance provider to see if they actually assign the Tegs different values other than coupe/sedan. Smaller ones may not. IMHO you'll eventually be kicking yourself for not getting the GSR assuming the two are in equal condition.
Well maintained, either car will get you to 250k+ so see if either car has maintenance papers backing them up. Also- both cars are up for the famous water pump/timing belt replacement. Plan on spending at least another $500 soon to get that done if it has not been done already.
