that goes for the same as the cai. piping still goes under the fender with any cai you get. so i really can't see how someone can claim that they are getting more power out of their intake over someone else. unless the ac intake is using a different filter. foam vs k&n type filter. then i can see that but if they don't i can't see how theirs is better.
temp is everything when racing. colder it is the better. but the colder it is, it can also hurt you. remember that

Dude, you are all over with your opinions and theories about intakes and how they work and what gains they provide and which ones have benefits and and drawbacks respectively.
This topic has been covered MANY times and has the usual same ultimate answer.
Preference! Thats it...
There are documented dyno graphs supplied by the top competitors IE: AEM and Comptech, so saying that they are all the same is incorrect and Very misleading.
I will not go into the differences of them AGAIN and argue each and explain it Again. Unfortunately the site provided won't open it's second page for me so I'll tell you what I say to everyone:
"You get what you pay for."
Read deeper into this forum to research intakes "Short Ram AND CAI design."
Good luck,
A.
