Whats up everyone, i have a 93 integra with a b20 engine from a 97 crv non vtec with a type r tranny. it runs and pulls strong but when popping it into third it grinds and feels like it pops out but runs fine other than that. any ideas? :

grinds at high rpm or just grinds when you switch it to third?

syncros maybe?

honestly sounds like a third gear syncro. Change the tranny fluid and make sure its topped off. Honda mtf should help you out. If not you gonna have to take it apart and swap the syncro out.

every time i switch into third and only no matter if its fast or slow

deffintly the third gear synchro while your in there you might wanna check the rest of them too.

In a Type R tranny, if it says ONLY Honda Tranny Fluid.. I know that's the route I'd be heading.

Honda ATF in a manual, especially an ITR tranny with LSD? Right.
