reynosop21 is an unknown quantity at this point
advice on a B20B motor with a B16A head

i have a 94 jdm integra with a b20b motor and a b16a head with a p28 re chipped and rev up to 9000 rpms..

i know the b20z makes more power , but could any one tell me how much HP im making ??????

should i go all motor on my ride...

or should i boost my ride with a supercharge and have the bottom end built...



plase post

i need some advice

dont rev your engine to 9K you will blow it with stock internals .. if you just want a quick street car not some drag car stay NA if funds are a issue..if you do your own engine work like me upgrade the cames and vavle springs and the intake manifold and you will have a high 13 second car with less than a grand in the motor

Build it then dyno it and youll see how much power you will make. Those types of questions are too difficult to answer because you don't know what other variables there are. Fuel type, air temperature, build technuiqes, what other parts there are, what compression you plan on useing and the list goes on and on. If you rev that motor to 9k kiss that bitch good bye. Resleeve that block before you put it back together also. And use the /search there are plenty of cr/vtec threads and ls/vtec threads laying around that could help. Check out the engine tech forum and they might be able to give you an estimate on your horespower.
