aem intake question

i recently installed my greddy catback exhaust and was pleased with the sound. today when i installed my aem sri it made my exhaust 2x as loud especially in vtec rpm it sounds like a different car. anyways i was wondering if this is normal

your car should get louder, thats because its taking in more air now. when you get a header it'll be even louder

I had my AEM SRI on before my catback, even then it was NOTICABLY louder. It would scream above 5k rpm.

Yeah its normal, isn't it awesome? Put a velocity stack on there with no filter and run open header then she'll really scream. but thats track only type stuff
