aftermarket converter with stock exhaust?

I'm planning on replacing the Catalitic converter on my '93 due to a nasty sulpher smell. As of now my exhaust is stock, and I may or may not put a header and cat back on the car in the future. Can I use an aftermarket converter with the stock exhaust
? Also who sells a good converter? Thanks for any help.

Yes, you can use an AF CAT but I dont see why you should use one...just stick to a direct replacement CAT. Some brands in mind; catco, or anything you can find at your local muffler shop
