am i doing this right? please help
i was doin a drain and fill on my gs-r....i drain the tranny but but when im fillin it through the fill hole it like more leaking out than goin in....here is a pic of the hole...any suggestions?
you could use the VSS hole just make sure the fill plug is off so you don't over fill the transmission.
the way I did on the civic and still do it on dsm's is to get a long hose (2 or 3 feet long) and funnel and fill from the top of engine.

the spilling is normal. the way i did it was i had my friend pouring it from the top with a funnel and hose and i was underneath making sure most of it went in and screwing the bolt back in quick. make sure you get most of the 2.4 quarts in.

I had bought a little pump from NAPA. It has pieces that screw on to the top of the fluid canister and has a pump to push in the fluid. It also has a long flexable tube, so you could get most of the fluid in the tranny. I think it was around $15 or so....
