another turbo question

Who makes a better, more complete turbo kit for the gen 2 integra. I have a 92 GSR (B17A1 engine). I have a contact that can get a Star Performance (Drag) Kit shipped to me for 3k, and one that can get me a REV Hard Kit for 2800. Both are complete stage 2 kits with intercoolers. which kit is the better buy and which will I be able to use stock componets for maximum 6months at 8psi. I say this because I am saving for internal buildup as well but I want to see the difference. Thanks.

Go with RevHard IMHO - there are a few people that have had bad experiences with shoddy DRAG manifolds (or it could just be a shoddy install, who knows) If you wanna go 8 PSI I would recommend a standalone engine management setup (Hondata or AEM EMS) and some 440cc injectors. You can do 8 PSI with good tuning... Hit me up on PM if ya wanna talk more about it, I don't know everything but I have been researching boosting my b18b for about 6 months

Thumbs up RH Stage 2 here'

I have had my Rev Hard stage 2 kit for bout' 2 months now and have had no issues! I am running 7psi and it fine w/ the fuel components supplied w/ kit to run like 9psi or so. I have heard some DRAG manifolds don't fit the best, otherwise a matter of components that differ the kits.

Goodluck!

Mark

oh yeah and you get a 2c intercooler as a bonus because the regular stage 2 intercoolers are backordered

Get whichever kit is cheaper they have almost identical parts some differences would be:
Drag chromed piping
Revhard regular ol' silver
Drag comes with HKS BOV
Revhard comes with Greddy BOV

Just make sure you get someone reputable to install it...

Both are nearly identical therefore I reccomend you get the one that is cheaper...

The Stage 2 kit was purchased from Jotech in Texas, little over $3k, I have a 96' GSR. The internals are stock , and I just have what comes w/ the kit. The shop had to make an intake for it, no intake piping/filter w/ the kit.

I have not heard of one bad thing about RH manifolds, otherwise same size turbo and just different components. My kit came w/ Vortec BOV/FMU.

Good luck'
