Auto Tranny slight clunking
My 91 LS has a slight clunk, almost a clicking type sound coming from the auto trans, intermittently during up or down shifting.
It also occurs in the driveway--brakes on--when I shift from neutral to drive. Like something is loose in there.
It doesn't slip or cause performance problems but has me concerned. Car has 175k miles and the tranny was flushed and refilled at 130K by Acura dealer.
Is there any additive I can use to halt this?
Aren't trannys so expensive that I might as well sell the car if it goes. It is a commuter car only.
