Have you ever Neutral Dropped It??? This can cause the tranny to mess up bad....or it could just be that you are low on tranny fluid or like CRAPPY SOL says "it needs changing"

ive neutral dropped before...... like a year ago. Probably less than 10 times total ever. And if i change my tranny fluid do i need a new filter or just change the fluid? and is the honda oem shit better than lets say valoline tranny fluid? thanks

Mods: Mostly Show Now , The PSsSSSttt is coming this summer
when i had my auto teg back in the day i had the same problem , it came to the point where it wouldnt shift to any gear , the proble was my shift linkage was bad and had to be changed,P.S if you dont know thats the cable that moves up and down when u take the car out of P-R-N-D-2-1 it was an older ls tho so they might work different
i believe a neutral drop is when you put the auto tranny in neutral, rev and put it back into drive while revving/while revs are up.... some1 correct me if im wrong
a better way is to depress both the brake and the gas at the same time, to get the revs up, and then take your foot off the brake. (This is also BAD for your trannie, but not as bad as a neutral drop) If you rev to high, you hit your torque converter's stall speed.
