b16 manafold

I have this guy trying to sell me a home made turbo that he had on his B16 and he is telling me it will fit right on to my b18b. Are the manafolds the exact same? THis is what he is selling "greedy man. t3 mustang svo turbo, vortec 12;1 fmu downpipe, oil lines, and sperco front mount intercooler. what do you think it is worth? Let me know ASAP so I can know if I should buy it?

as far as the location of the throttle body the ls, b16, and ITR share the same location. so the piping will fit and is interchangable between the three. as far as "homemade" turbos are concerned, just be careful since there's no "warranty" behind it.

flange bolt hole patterns and coolant ducts aren't the same for a PR3 head vs P74/75 head.

an IM for a 1.6L is not ideal for a 1.8L if you went FI for the b18b later on.

an IM for a turbo would gut the midrange for an N/A setup based on the tuned length and plenum volume.

there's many reasons to pass on this....should've checked over on our board first instead of a beginner's board...oh well. live & learn....

as far as pipings for the turbo kit is concerned, it will bolt on to an LS. swapping out the intake manifold for a b16, however, is a totally different affair.
